I recently switched to Linux Mint on a new PC and want to set it up for a major nostalgia trip while keeping it functional for today's needs. I've been trying out Becky! via Wine, but I'm running into some bugs and UI issues. Plus, I'm not keen on buying a Japanese license for it. I'm hoping to find an email client that runs natively on Linux. Any suggestions, or am I stuck relying on my web browser for email?

You might want to check out Claws Mail. It has an old-school look, but it’s packed with features and still gets regular updates. It might be just what you're looking for!
That’s a solid choice! Claws Mail might have that vintage feel, but it’s very functional.
If you’re looking for something with a graphical interface, definitely give Thunderbird a shot. It integrates well with various services and isn't as clunky as some alternatives.
Have you considered Thunderbird? It’s a popular choice for many Linux users and has a more modern interface while still being user-friendly.

Yooo thanks! That looks perfect, I'm downloading it now!
