I recently got an old PC from a friend that doesn't have any operating system installed. I'm considering installing Linux on it since my main PC runs Windows 11. I'm a gamer, and I've been looking into options like Bazzite and Linux Mint, but I'd love some recommendations. I also play games like Call of Duty and Fortnite, and I'm interested in emulating games as well. I'm a bit nervous about switching my main system's OS, but I'm curious about the best Linux versions for gaming. Any guidance would be appreciated!

If gaming is your priority, check out Bazzite first since it’s tailored for that. But you might want to consider Zorin OS or Pop!_OS too. They generally have better compatibility with Nvidia graphics cards, which can be a big help. I’ve had mixed experiences with Ubuntu and Mint, but they’re solid options as well. Since this won’t be your primary machine, feel free to experiment with different distros until you find one that fits you best.

Thanks for the suggestions! I'd also like to know if there’s a way to play COD on Linux since I'm a little hesitant about giving it up.
