I accidentally uninstalled WhatsApp and I'm pretty sure I didn't have backups enabled. Is there any way I can get back my lost chats, photos, and videos? I really need help with this!

Without the backup option activated, the chats are pretty much lost. You might have a chance to recover media files if they were already saved to your device.
Unfortunately, if you didn't have backups turned on, there's no way to retrieve your chats. The only media you might recover is any that was saved to your gallery before the uninstall.
Just to clarify, are you using iOS or Android?
I'm on Android.
