I'm looking to build my first gaming PC and have a budget of around $850. I've primarily been a console gamer, so I'm not too familiar with the components and what to look for. My main game is Fortnite, and I'd like to run it at 1080p aiming for 144fps. I've browsed some parts on Amazon and these are the key components I've found so far: RTX 5060 8GB for $380, Intel i5 14600k for $300, and an ASUS Prime B760M-A AX LGA 1700 motherboard for $134. I'm aware I need DDR5 RAM, but I'm uncertain about how much to get and where to purchase it. Any recommendations?

Consider going for the Radeon RX 9060 XT; it's a better value for the price!
RAM prices are pretty high right now, so I think you're stuck with 16GB unless you're lucky enough to find a deal at a Micro Center. If you can, I suggest bumping up to a 1440p 144Hz setup and considering the RTX 5060 Ti for better performance—it might be worth the extra cash. You could also look into a cheaper CPU to balance the costs.

Are you talking about the Radeon RX 9060 XT with 16GB?
