Anyone Else Experiencing Printing Problems with Windows 11 25H2?

I've run into some serious printing issues after updating to Windows 11 version 25H2. Several clients are now dealing with garbled printouts or nothing coming out at all. I reached out to Microsoft for help, but they haven't been responsive at all. I paid for a support incident and it's been a total waste. I'm considering rolling back to version 24H2, but that means extra work I really don't want to do. I've tried using both PCL and Postscript drivers on different HP LaserJet printers, but nothing seems to resolve the issue. These clients have used these laser printers without any problems for years, so I'm pretty stumped. Has anyone else had similar issues?

Are you printing through a server or connecting directly via IP? Sometimes those configurations can cause issues too.

I’m going direct to IP.

Are you sure you're using type 3 or type 4 drivers? It can make a difference depending on the setup.

Good point! I’ll check on that. I think I assumed it was type 4, but I’ll verify.

In my previous job, we had success by setting the print processor to 'winprint' and the default data type to 'raw.' I believe that’s what Microsoft support suggested, too.

Interesting! Everything’s set to raw right now, but I could switch to winprint if needed. Raw has always worked for us before.

Have you considered trying the generic Microsoft drivers? I know it's a long shot, but sometimes they can help if nothing else is working.

Not yet. All the clients on 24H2 are printing fine without any issues.
