How to Control Keyboard Backlighting on an Asus TUF Laptop Running Arch?

I've been using Arch Linux on my Asus TUF F15 laptop with an i5 processor, 8GB of RAM, and a 1660 Ti graphics card for a few months. On Windows, I used the 'Asus Aura' software to switch between various keyboard lighting profiles. However, since switching to Arch, I'm stuck with just one lighting profile. How can I regain control of my keyboard backlighting and access different lighting options?

You might want to try using 'asusctl' for controlling the RGB lighting on your keyboard. It supports several effects like static or rainbow. Just keep in mind that it's mostly aimed at ROG devices, so it may not fully support your TUF model. Still, it's worth a shot!

I checked the compatible devices list for asusctl, and it seems like TUF models are not included. You might need to look for other tools specifically designed for TUF laptops.
