I'm trying to improve my gaming setup to run games like Escape from Tarkov more smoothly. Currently, I have an AMD Ryzen 3 2300X quad-core processor, 8GB of RAM, and a mix of storage (932GB SSD, 224GB SSD, and a 932GB HDD). My graphics card is a Radeon RX 570. What should I focus on upgrading first to enhance my gaming experience?

You should definitely upgrade your RAM first. 32GB would be ideal for Tarkov, but even going to 16GB would help. For your CPU, a Ryzen 5600 or even a 5600X would be a good match. Just remember to check if your motherboard can handle these upgrades!

Thanks for the advice! I guess more RAM is crucial for performance.

Yeah, Tarkov really benefits from having more RAM to prevent stuttering.

Looking at your specs, both your CPU and RAM are below the minimum for Tarkov. I’d go for a Ryzen 5600 or higher and bump your RAM up to at least 16GB, preferably 32GB if your budget allows. As for the GPU, if you have extra funds, cards like the RTX 3060 or RX 6700 XT would work well and are affordable options right now.

I’d recommend starting with the processor. An upgrade to at least a Ryzen 5600 along with increasing your RAM to 16 GB would make a big difference. If you can, also consider getting a graphics card at least on par with the RTX 3060. Those are the crucial upgrades for a smooth experience in Tarkov!
