I'm dealing with a user who typically works on her desktop but occasionally connects to it through RDP using a laptop over the company Wi-Fi. Both devices are in the same domain, and she's logging in as the same user. Recently, after an update on the Abacus side, the ERP application Abacus closes itself whenever the RDP connection is initiated. Interestingly, other applications remain open during this transition. However, Abacus does keep running in the opposite scenario, when disconnecting from RDP and logging back into the desktop. I'm out of ideas on how to troubleshoot this issue and haven't found anything in the application or RDP settings that could explain it. Has anyone encountered similar problems and have suggestions?

Does Abacus close completely or just minimize? I’ve noticed that with Windows 11, some apps minimize all their windows when starting an RDP connection. Maybe users think they’ve quit, but they might just be hidden.
Some apps are designed to close when they detect an RDP session due to licensing restrictions. A common example is Bloomberg. Just a thought, but it could be something similar with Abacus.

Nope, it’s definitely closing. I checked the task manager, and all the Abacus processes end up closed. There's not even a log entry in the event viewer. All other apps are still open, no minimization happening.
