I'm looking to upgrade my GPU from an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 to a 5070 TI, but I want to ensure I don't run into any issues or bottlenecks. My ultimate plan is to do a complete build upgrade down the line, but for now, I want to make this GPU upgrade before the prices go up. Here are my current specs:
- CPU: Intel Core i7-11700K (8 cores, 16 threads, 3.60GHz)
- SSD: 1TB WD Blue SN550 PCIe NVMe M.2
- RAM: 16GB DDR4-3200
- Cooler: Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML240 Illusion
- Case: CyberPowerPC P418R
- Motherboard: MSI Z590 Pro WIFI
- PSU: APEVIA 800W Gold 80 Plus
- Current GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 8GB GDDR6

You'll notice a solid upgrade, especially if you're gaming at higher resolutions like 1440p or 4K. Just keep in mind that for 1080p, you might not see as much of a difference. Also, getting faster RAM could help a lot too!
Honestly, it should be fine! While your CPU might hold back some performance, the GPU upgrade will still give you a noticeable boost.

I play at 1440p on a high refresh rate monitor, and it runs smooth for me!
