I have an iPhone 4s that lost its battery and back plate after falling out of my pocket in class. When I picked them up and reattached them, the phone wouldn't turn on, even after charging for hours. I initially thought the battery was dead, so I replaced it with a new one, but it still shows no signs of life—no Apple logo or charging screen. I suspect the fall might have damaged the battery connector or something on the motherboard. I can't post pictures of the internals, so I'm not sure what steps to take next.

I think it’s time for an upgrade. The iPhone 4s is running an outdated version of iOS, which means you won't be able to use many apps anymore. Plus, it’s pretty hard to find parts for a device from 2011, lol.
If you really want to keep it, consider jailbreaking it. That could give you a bit more functionality, but keep in mind that's a bit of a patch on an old device!
Honestly, at this point, it might be best to consider heading to a repair shop or even getting a new phone. The cost to diagnose and fix it may exceed the phone's value—especially since it's such an old model.

Yeah, that could work but just remember the risks involved with jailbreaking.
