I accidentally canceled my AppleCare+ for my AirPods Max, thinking I was just cancelling an app subscription. I contacted Apple support, but they couldn't help me right away. I'm supposed to get a follow-up tomorrow from a different department. I paid for a full year of AppleCare+ and still had several months left. Is there really no way to reinstate my AppleCare+?

You might want to check into whether you can get AppleCare+ for your devices again. If you have three compatible devices, it might work for you! Just keep an eye on the eligibility requirements.
That sounds frustrating! From what I know, they usually give you a grace period of about 30 days to reinstate it, so hopefully, that's the case here for you.
If you paid for the year already, you should still have coverage until the year ends. But if they processed the cancellation, you may not be eligible for a refund unless they give you one. Apple tends to bundle things, but it would be odd for them to do that in this situation. Just be patient and see what they say tomorrow!
If you can't renew it within 24 hours after the cancellation, it might be game over. However, if you can visit an Apple Store, sometimes they can make exceptions, especially if your purchase was less than two years ago. Just keep in mind that AirPods Max might not be eligible for reinstatement since they have strict criteria for coverage. Fingers crossed the support team gives you some good news!
Yeah, it seems like the store can’t override their cancellation policy if it was processed on their end. That's really the tough part, but hopefully, the support team can work something out for you!

That's what I thought too! I paid for the entire year, so I'm hoping they can reinstate it without issue.
