Hey everyone, I recently bought a digital art book from a games developer and I'm looking to print it for personal use, not for sale. I've tried using Adobe's PDF to JPG conversion, but the quality turned out to be really poor, even at the highest settings. I've read online that I need at least 300dpi and might need to add bleed lines, but I'm completely lost. Can anyone suggest good software for converting my PDF to JPG? Also, some guidance on preparing the JPGs for printing would be super helpful. Thanks in advance!

You really don’t need to convert to JPG for printing. Just open your PDF in a reader and print it directly. JPGs aren’t great for print, while PDFs are designed for that. If your PDF has low-quality images, you might need someone to help upscale those before printing. Good luck!
Why not just print directly from the PDF? It’s actually really common to do so. The PDF format is ideal for printing, and converting to JPG might not yield the best results for your art book.
If you're using Microsoft Publisher, you can set up a publication with bleeds included. It might make the whole process easier if you're going that route.
Thanks for the tip! I might just print from the PDF after all. I appreciate it!
