Why Do I Have to Restart My PC for WiFi to Work?

I'm facing an annoying issue where my PC doesn't connect to the internet when I first start it up. A diagnostic tool indicates that my WiFi is deactivated, but clicking on the activation option doesn't help. If I restart my computer, everything works fine, and the internet speed is good. However, if I leave my PC idle for about 30 minutes, the internet drops again, and I'll have to restart. Has anyone experienced this, and what solutions do you suggest?

Check if your WiFi adapter is set to sleep mode. Sometimes it can deactivate itself when the PC isn't in use.

I've dealt with a similar issue on my laptop. My WiFi would randomly deactivate when I put it to sleep or during gaming. I thought it was a hardware issue, so I ordered a new WiFi card. In the meantime, I cleaned out the dust from my laptop's fans while trying to replace the card, and surprisingly, it fixed the WiFi issue without needing to change anything!

Have you tried downloading and reinstalling the drivers for your WiFi adapter? That might help fix the issue.

You might want to look into the Power Management settings in Device Manager for your WiFi adapter. Uncheck the box that allows the computer to turn off the device to save power. That solved my similar problem!
