Is This a Good Starter PC Build?

Hey everyone! I'm new to building PCs and I've put together a starter build, but I'm not entirely sure if everything looks good. Here's what I have:

- Thermaltake 700W 80+ White Certified PSU
- RTX 3050 6GB
- AMD Ryzen 5 5500
- AMD Wraith Stealth CPU Cooler (I included this just in case it's relevant)
- 16GB DDR4 Silicon Power Value RAM (two sticks)
- ATX GIGABYTE B550 Eagle Motherboard
- F600 PC Case (not sure if this is important to mention)

I'd appreciate any tips or advice on whether I should change anything!

Overall, your build seems fine, but most folks recommend going for a 3060 or a 6600 for better performance in games.

What country are you in, and what’s your budget looking like? Knowing that can help with specific suggestions.

I’m in America, and my budget is around $800 to $1000.

For gaming, the Ryzen 5 5500 might not be the best choice due to its small L3 cache. If your budget allows it, opt for a Ryzen 5 5600 or 5600X for better performance. Also, the Thermaltake PSU isn’t great; look for something rated A- or B-tier for better reliability.

Thanks for the insight! I’ll definitely consider upgrading the CPU and PSU.

Can you share your build on a parts picker to check prices? At first glance, I'd swap out the PSU and GPU. But if you got them at a steal, like $20 for the PSU or $50 for the GPU, that's a solid deal!
