I'm curious if it's possible to add integrated graphics to a CPU that originally didn't come with them. For example, take the Ryzen 7 8700—there's a version with integrated graphics (the 8700G) and one without (the 8700F). I've heard about updates for the 8700G, like the RX 780M, and I'm wondering if those could somehow be used on the 8700F. What would happen if I tried an update meant for a different integrated GPU, like an 880M? Would it actually work, or could it risk damaging the CPU? I haven't found solid answers on this, so I'm eager to learn more!

Not possible! Integrated graphics are built into the CPU itself, so if your CPU isn’t designed for it, you’re out of luck. Best bet is to get a CPU that comes with it.
Unfortunately, the 8700F lacks an iGPU entirely, so there's no software update that can change that. You’ll need to buy the iGPU version if you want integrated graphics.
Honestly, just grab a CPU that has the integrated graphics if you need it. Trying to force updates on a non-iGPU CPU will lead nowhere good.
The iGPU is built into the chip, so it's not something you can just add later. If you're looking for graphics capabilities, a new chip with an iGPU is the way to go.
Nope, you can't add integrated graphics to a CPU that doesn't have it. The iGPU is physically fused off in the factory, so there's no way to integrate it later.
