I recently had to travel with my desktop PC for college and packed it in a padded case. Once I set it up at home, I noticed green lines all over the monitor that are constantly moving and seem to shift towards lighter areas of the screen. I've already updated the graphics drivers, cleaned the HDMI cable, and restarted my PC multiple times. I'm looking for suggestions on how to resolve this issue. Thanks in advance!

First off, is it a laptop or a desktop? If it's a desktop, try reseating the video card and any other cards or RAM. Sometimes moving a computer can jostle things loose. If it's a laptop, I don't have a quick fix for that, but trying a different video cable can help, just in case the one you used was damaged during your travels.
I’d definitely swap out the HDMI cable before diving too deep into troubleshooting. Also, popping the video card out and back in can help. Moving things around during travel can dislodge components. I’m betting that reseating the video card will solve your problem, but if not, just grab another HDMI cable—even one from your TV will do!
Thanks for the tips! I haven't touched the GPU in years; do you have any advice on what to be careful with?

I've already reset my motherboard, but the green lines are still there. The HDMI cable was in my backpack and seems fine. What should I try next?
