I'm having trouble with my computer because the WiFi has completely disappeared. I've tried restarting it, disabling and re-enabling everything I could think of, and I even searched online for similar issues. I read that there should be a WiFi section in the device manager, but it's not there. What could this mean, and how can I fix it?

You might want to check the manufacturer's support website using a different computer. There, you can locate your exact model, usually by entering the serial number. Download the WiFi driver to a USB stick, and then install it on your computer. If you don’t have another computer, using an Ethernet cable to connect to your router could also work to restore a wired connection while you sort this out.

Thanks for the tip! I’ll give that a try.
