I'm considering buying a used gaming PC that's about 1.5 years old for $1500. Here are the specs: it has an ASUS TUF 4070 Ti Super 16GB GPU, an Intel Core i7 14700KF CPU, 32GB of G Skill Trident Z DDR-5 RAM at 6000MHz, an MSI Z790 Gaming Plus Wifi motherboard, two SSDs (SAMSUNG 980 Pro 2TB and SAMSUNG 970 Evo 250GB), an Asus ROG RYUJIN III 360 cooler, an Asus ROG Strix 850W power supply, and a Lian Li O11 Dynamic Evo case. What do you think? Is this a good deal or too risky?

Be cautious with that Intel 14700KF; I've heard it's risky to buy used. Also, $1500 seems a bit steep for this setup. Considering current market prices, even with the RAM prices being wonky, this shouldn't exceed around $1850 at most. It's strange someone would sell such a good PC. You might be better off building a new one instead.

Could you explain why the 14700KF is risky? I've only heard issues with the 13900K and 14900K.
