Good morning, everyone! I'm currently running a 7800X3D CPU paired with a 4070 Ti and DDR5 7000MTs memory. I'm feeling the itch to upgrade my CPU and wanted to get your opinions. Do you think it's a good time to make a change, and if so, what CPU would you recommend? I mainly play Battlefield 6 and I'm happy with the performance on other games. Just to clarify, I'm looking to upgrade for better FPS. I've got a 280Hz monitor, and without DLSS, I can't achieve high frame rates to match my refresh rate.

If you really want more FPS, upgrading your GPU might be the way to go instead of the CPU. You already have a great setup!
Honestly, you’re rocking one of the best gaming CPUs out there right now. Upgrading seems unnecessary, especially since you’re not having problems with other games. It feels more like you’re influenced by marketing than actual performance issues. If you're looking for better FPS, consider other options before throwing money at a new CPU.

Totally agree! Plus, maybe a slight overclock on your current GPU could deliver the extra frames you're chasing.
