I recently got a prebuilt PC, which I know can have some quirks right out of the box. Overall, it offers great value, especially given the current RAM prices. However, I'm experiencing some troubling issues. I've tried everything from completely uninstalling drivers with DDU to installing various Nvidia drivers from November to now. I've even reset my PC to rule out any malware and have performed sfc and dism scans. I own an RTX 5060, and since the 8th, it's been pulling a bizarre 325W at all times, even when idle. My GPU usage spikes erratically at idle, and when I launch any game, it's constantly maxed out at around 100% with terrible performance, often dropping to about 20fps. Oddly, the GPU temperatures stay low, around 30°C, even during gameplay. I'm really stuck trying to figure out what's going on.

That sounds like a really weird issue! The 325W draw is definitely unusual. Have you thought about capturing a video of this happening? Also, make sure you're connecting your monitor to the GPU, not the motherboard. That could be a factor.
If you’re getting those readings from both HWMonitor and the Nvidia overlay, it might be worth investigating further. Just keep checking connections and monitor settings!
Yeah, it’s definitely odd. If you can’t record a video, maybe a screenshot or a Snip would work? Just to show those readings. Tools like HWMonitor and the Nvidia overlay can help verify those numbers.
