Hey everyone! I'm in the process of building my first gaming PC and I could really use some advice. Here are my current specs:
- CPU: Ryzen 7 7800X3D
- Motherboard: Gigabyte B850 EAGLE wifi6E
- SSD: Samsung 990 PRO 2TB
- RAM: Corsair Vengeance 32GB DDR5 6000MHz CL30
- GPU: Plait GeForce RTX 5070 TI GamingPro-S
- PSU: Be Quiet! Pure Power 13 M, 80+ Gold, 850W
- CPU Cooler: Be Quiet! Pure Loop 3 LX 360mm
- Case: Corsair FRAME 4000D RS
I plan to game on a 3440x1440 monitor and I'm curious if there's anything you would change about my build. Should I look for cheaper parts or consider spending more on something specific? Just for reference, the total cost comes to about $2900 in my country. Thanks in advance for any tips!

Your build looks solid overall! I wouldn’t change anything major, but there are some small tweaks to consider. If your RAM isn't RGB, maybe switch out the case. Since you’ve got a mix of non-Corsair components, opting for a case that doesn’t push iCue software would be a good idea. Brands like Montech, Lian Li, and Fractal Design could be perfect for you. Also, don’t forget, the Be Quiet! PSU is excellent and should serve you well. Your system is definitely going to handle 3440x1440 like a champ! Nice going!
I have the same CPU/GPU combo and a 3440x1440 monitor too! It performs amazing! What games do you plan to play with your setup?
What games are you currently playing? And how many FPS are you getting?
Looks great! You could save some cash by going for different brands, but if you’re all about that Corsair aesthetic, I get it. The combination of the 5070 TI and Ryzen 7 7800X3D is fantastic. Just a heads-up, make sure to add a 120mm fan to the back of the Frame 4000D since it typically comes with only three fans installed at the front.

I want to dive into a lot of games since I’ve been stuck with a GTX 1050 TI for five years. Right now, I'm eyeing games like Wukong, RDR2, the last four Assassin's Creed games, and Ghost of Tsushima, among others. Can’t wait to finally upgrade!
