I've got some spare time and I'm eager to help out on a DevOps project! I'm curious about which repositories might need a bit of care, whether it's writing documentation, enhancing performance, or adding new features. What are your go-to projects, and do you know any that could use some help?

If you're into Go, check out OpenTofu! They're doing some fantastic work and are very responsive. Their features are really impressive, and the team is super approachable. You can often find them in the version announcement threads on Reddit!
It’s really more about what interests you! You should focus on projects that resonate with you personally—something you regularly use or know a bit about. Start small by fixing documentation or even consider contributing to larger projects like Kubernetes or Linux if that’s your jam.
I’m working on a niche project that integrates mainframe jobs with modern cloud stacks. It's something I've built out of necessity for my own work with AWS ETL pipelines. If you’re interested, I’d love to share the codebase!
If you enjoy Go and Terraform, you should check out Atmos! There’s always a need for contributors there.
I'd love to see that codebase too! It sounds really interesting.
