Why are my SSD and HDD downloads so slow and resulting in corrupted files?

I'm experiencing slow downloads while trying to get games from Steam on both my SSD and HDD. After the downloads finish, it says the files are corrupted, even though I checked the drives and they seem fine. I also tried downloading a game from another platform, and while that game downloaded slowly, it did complete. I've attempted a few solutions like clearing the download cache and even reformatting my drives, but nothing worked. Both drives were functioning perfectly just two days ago, and I didn't download anything during that time. Any advice would be appreciated, as I'm not very tech-savvy.

It sounds like a potential connectivity issue rather than a problem with your drives. Have you ruled out your internet connection? Those slowing downloads could be due to network problems instead.

I actually tested it with a different internet connection and it was still slow.

Also, I noticed that it downloaded well when I switched to downloading directly to Windows.
