Need Help With High CPU Temperatures

I'm struggling with high CPU temperatures and I'm not very knowledgeable about this stuff. I originally bought a pre-built PC and I really need some guidance after trying to troubleshoot this issue for several days. I've attached a link to a picture of my BIOS showing my CPU fan settings. Can anyone help me figure out if there's a setting that's wrong or if it's something else entirely?

If your cooler isn't working efficiently or the thermal paste needs to be reapplied, that could be the issue too. Even if it’s pre-built, sometimes they don’t do the best job with cooling. What kind of case fans do you have?

I didn't think about the thermal paste. I’ll look into that. As for case fans, I’m not sure how many are installed.

Adding more case fans or upgrading them could also help. You want good airflow in your case.

It would help to know the specific CPU and cooler you’re using. Adjusting fan curves in the BIOS could make a difference, but without those details, it's tough to offer concrete advice. Have you done any troubleshooting steps yet?

I have an i7 11700F and I'm using a Deep Cool Theta 20 PWM cooler. I've tried lowering graphics settings in games and turning on XMP, but nothing seems to help.

Make sure the cooler is properly mounted and check for dust buildup. Cleaning can significantly improve cooling performance.
