I've got an i5-9600KF that's overclocked by about 10%, paired with an RTX 2060 that I've only been using for 5 months and 16GB of RAM. No matter what I do, I can't get my FPS in Valorant to go above 180. I've tried a bunch of things: I overclocked my RAM, disabled V-Sync and G-Sync, set everything to low and turned off the FPS limiter, switched my GPU to 'max performance', and made sure my FPS limiter is off. With these specs, I should be hitting over 300 FPS, but it just doesn't go beyond 180. Any ideas?

Do you really need 300 FPS? If your monitor is only 60Hz, then even getting 180 FPS is just sending extra frames that won't display. If you get 180 FPS on a 60Hz monitor, the GPU sends three frames but only shows one at a time. Maybe set your FPS limit to match your refresh rate?
You might want to check the cables you’re using. If you're using a DisplayPort 1.2 cable, that could be keeping your FPS at 180. Switching to a DP 2.0 or 2.1 cable could help. DP 1.4 supports up to 240Hz, so make sure your cables match your setup.
It sounds like your CPU might be the bottleneck. Valorant is quite CPU intensive, so even if your GPU is fine, the CPU can hold back your FPS.
Honestly, your CPU is quite old at this point. It's been around for about 7 years, which could explain the performance cap you're seeing.

I tried it out, but I still got 600 FPS while in agent select. I'm confused about what's happening.
