Hey everyone! I'm a recent graduate (2025) with a couple of internships under my belt—one in full-stack development and the other as an AI trainer. I've just secured a spot in the Loop Interview for the Agentic AI role at Amazon, and I'm trying to figure out how many stories I should have ready. I've been diving into Amazon's Leadership Principles and the STAR method, but I'm feeling a bit lost on what my story prep should look like. Should I aim for one story for each Leadership Principle, or can I get away with having two to three versatile stories that can fit multiple principles? As someone who's just starting their career, what's a reasonable number of solid stories to have prepared for this interview? Any insights from those who have been through the Amazon loop interview process would be super helpful. Thanks a ton! 🙏

You actually don’t need a story for every Leadership Principle, even more seasoned candidates shy away from that. Focus on bringing your absolute best stories—aim for around 2 to 4. A single solid story can often be adapted to fit multiple principles. For example, if one of your stories illustrates your ability to dig deep into issues, that can link to 'Learn and Be Curious' or 'Bias for Action' depending on how you frame it.

I’ve heard folks mention it’s better to have a couple of tailored stories per principle. Maybe it’s different for entry-level positions, but having distinct examples for key principles could really pay off!
