I've recently discovered that my NAT type is restricted, and I'm a bit lost on how to fix it. I'm using AT&T as my internet provider and have logged into my router settings through my web browser. I found the Firewall section and navigated to the IP Passthrough tab based on some advice I found online. I set the Allocation Mode to 'Default server' and the Passthrough Mode to 'DHCPS-Fixed'. However, when I try to select my device in the 'Default server internal address,' it tells me that my device isn't on the correct network, even though I have it connected via an Ethernet cable. The message states that the address must be on network 192.***.1.0/24, but my device's IP is 99.**.**.195. I'm unsure if I'm on the right path to changing my NAT type to open or not. If I'm doing the right steps, could someone help me fix the device not being on the right IP? If I'm going the wrong way, I would really appreciate guidance on how to resolve the NAT issue overall.

It seems like your router's firmware lacks the support for a proper DMZ mode, which allows one device to bypass the firewall completely. There are configurations that could let you use the router in a single-device passthrough mode, but that might be as far as it goes for you.
I have no idea what you mean by that! 😩 Can I still fix the NAT type or not? I need to run servers from my computer, but it’s causing major lag for everyone playing.
