How to Update BIOS from an EXE File on a Laptop?

I have an Acer Nitro V 15 laptop, and I've noticed that the BIOS update is only offered as an executable (.exe) file on the official website. I'm wondering if there's a way to run this update using a virtual machine. I'm not too keen on using Wine or Proton, and while I'm open to dual-booting Windows if necessary, I'd really prefer to stay on Linux if possible. Any advice on how to proceed?

You'll need to do the BIOS update in Windows, sadly. I have the same laptop, and that’s how I managed to update mine. It's straightforward once you get Windows running.

To update the BIOS, you should really use Windows. The .exe file is likely a program meant to handle the installation because BIOS updates often aren't just straightforward .exe files.
