I'm looking for some fun and engaging online programs to help my 13-year-old son learn programming. If you have any suggestions for either paid or free options that are suitable for teenagers, I'd love to hear about them!

Code.org is a fantastic platform as well! My friend who teaches tech at a high school uses it a lot, and he says the resources are top-notch for beginners.
You might want to check out some gaming-based coding apps. For instance, "Rabbids Coding" is really fun and teaches programming basics without feeling too heavy on the lessons. You can find it on Ubisoft's store!
I highly recommend Codingal! They've got fantastic teachers and a solid curriculum, making it a great choice for kids just starting out in programming. My kids have enjoyed their classes a lot!
Check out Team Treehouse! They offer a wide range of courses that could be appealing to your son. Definitely worth a look!
Don't overlook free resources like TechWithTim on YouTube! He has some great beginner videos that make learning programming really accessible and fun.

It is a paid option, but honestly, it's totally worth the investment!
