I'm having a frustrating issue with my Windows 11 laptop where the Wi-Fi turns back on every time I boot up, even though I always switch it off before shutting down. I've tried a few fixes: I've manually turned off Wi-Fi, disabled 'Connect automatically' for all my networks, and switched off any auto-connect options I could find. Since I primarily use Ethernet, this problem is annoying because it interferes with my wired connection. I'm hoping someone can shed some light on why this happens or if there's a setting or tweak (like in the registry or group policy) that can help maintain the last state of Wi-Fi before shutdown. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Here are my laptop specs: Intel Core i9 13900 HX, 16 GB RAM DDR5, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060, Dell G15 5530, 1 TB SSD.

If you mainly use Ethernet, consider disabling your Wi-Fi adapter in Device Manager. If you need Wi-Fi occasionally, you could uncheck "allow the computer to turn on this device" in the Wi-Fi adapter's power management settings. That way, it won't activate at startup but will still be available when you need it.
Have you tried disabling Wi-Fi using the F12 key instead of going through the control panel? Sometimes that can work better.

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll give that a shot!
