I'm considering upgrading my PC but I'm not sure where to begin. Here are my current specs:
- Motherboard: B460m DS3H V2
- CPU: Intel I5 11400
I've discovered that my motherboard has an LGA1200 socket. Should I think about upgrading to an AM5 socket?

Before diving into an upgrade, think about what you want to achieve. Are you aiming for better gaming performance, or something else? Also, could you share your power supply specs and budget? Knowing your budget will help narrow down options. For instance, if you’re aiming for 1080p gaming and your budget is around $200-$300, that’s a good place to start.
Upgrading to AM5 could be tricky right now since it requires DDR5 RAM, which tends to be pricey currently. If you want a more cost-effective upgrade without splurging on new RAM, consider sticking to an AM4 or LGA1700 motherboard. You can still find some compatible CPUs that will fit, like the Intel 12600 or 12700. It's a solid mid-range option without breaking the bank.

Thanks for the suggestion!
