What’s Going Wrong with My 9800X3D Cinebench Scores?

I've got a setup with a 9800X3D and a Gigabyte X870 Stealth Ice motherboard using the F5 BIOS version. My RAM is Klevv 6000 with timings of 30-36-36-76, and I'm using a Super Flower Leadex 7 850W PSU. I enabled EXPO, set my manual Precision Boost Overdrive, and configured a Curve Optimizer for all cores at -35. I also opened up the max power limit and turned on X3D Turbo Mode. However, I'm only getting an average score of around 15k on Cinebench R23, which feels low since I expected something above 20k. My maximum power consumption while running the test is only about 106W when it could potentially hit over 160W, and my max temperature reaches 64°C. For reference, my Cinebench single-core score is between 2100 and 2200 on average. What could I be doing wrong?

Your -35 setting for all cores might be too aggressive and not entirely stable. Also, turning on X3D Turbo Mode can disable hyperthreading/SMT, which could negatively affect your Cinebench scores. It seems like a bit of a balancing act, so consider tweaking those settings a bit. Turbo mode isn't necessary for everything—it could help in some games but might hurt your overall score in benchmarks.

I’ll try turning off turbo mode in the BIOS and adjust the core settings. I appreciate the insight on stability too!
