Help! My Computer Is Acting Possessed, What Should I Do?

I've been having a nightmare with my computer since I tried to install a C++ compiler back in October. No matter what I do, it just won't cooperate! I've replaced almost every part, and I've reinstalled Windows three times—once from a USB and again from a disc. Each time I enter my password, I suddenly need to activate the on-screen keyboard. The keyboard seems to be out of control, typing slashes and random symbols, and sometimes it just won't accept any input. It even opens and closes random software on its own, often just when I'm about to reset it. I've done factory resets but nothing works. I'm a graphic designer and haven't been able to use my computer for months now. I'm at my wit's end and desperate for help!

You might want to try Hiren's Boot—it’s a great tool for troubleshooting. Another option is to boot from a Linux live USB. You can use gparted to completely wipe your hard drive and then reinstall Windows fresh.

Check if you have any USB dongles plugged in. Sometimes, cheap wireless devices can cause interference! I've seen cases where folks had weird ghostly inputs due to faulty wireless keyboards or mice.

It sounds like there could be something wrong with your keyboard. Have you tried using a different one? Sometimes a faulty keyboard can cause all sorts of weird input issues.

Yeah, I’ve tried unplugging my keyboard, but it still does those phantom inputs! It's so frustrating.

Make sure you update your drivers from official sources. If you're using a Dell laptop, check Dell Update; for HP, use HP Support Assistant. If it's a custom build, grab the latest from your motherboard manufacturer.
