I'm looking to upgrade my aging NVIDIA 2070 Super, which has been showing signs of trouble lately (I've had a couple of BSODs). About a year ago, I switched to an AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor and upgraded to 32GB of RAM. While I've always favored NVIDIA, I'm considering some AMD options this time around. I'm based in the US and would like to keep my budget around $1000, although that's dipping into my savings. I know I'll also need to upgrade my power supply since BSODs are often related to RAM issues, and I'm going to run some more tests with Memtest. For gaming, I primarily use a 2560x1440 monitor that runs below 70Hz and plan to upgrade for a better refresh rate in the future. Any recommendations for a new GPU, and is it worth switching to AMD?

For a solid upgrade, check out the Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB. It's a great value and will serve you well. I picked one up last year, and the jump from my GTX 1080 to it was impressive, especially for 1440p gaming. Just make sure you get the 16GB version!

I got the same card last October and have been loving the performance! It’s definitely a solid choice for your setup.
