What Size PSU Should I Upgrade To for My PC Parts?

I'm planning to upgrade some parts in my computer, which currently has a B450m-a pro max motherboard, an R5 3600 processor, 32GB of RAM at 3200MHz (4x8), and a 3060 graphics card with a 500W power supply. I'm thinking this setup is pretty much at its limit right now.

The PC was bought second-hand, and while it runs well, the setup looks pretty rough. My upgrade plans include switching to a 5700X processor, adding a Thermaltake Assassin cooler, a few additional fans, and eventually transitioning to an mATX case.

According to Buildcore, I'll need about 430-450W. I'm debating between getting a 700W or 750W PSU to ensure enough power for future upgrades, especially if I decide to get a new GPU in a couple of years. What would be the standard size to go for? Also, shopping for PSUs is a bit tricky with all the different ratings like bronze and gold. Should I be aiming for a certain quality? I'm still figuring things out, as the last PC I built was back in 2000. Here's a rough idea of prices in Canadian dollars:
- 5700X: $220 (AliExpress)
- 700W PSU: ~$110
- Thermaltake Cooler: ~$50
- Fans: ~$40

I think a 750W PSU would be a solid choice for your upgrades! It's slightly pricier, but you might want to check out the SeaSonic CORE GX ATX 3 (2024) model for around 124 CAD. It's a high-quality option and should serve you well.

So just to confirm, is it better to go for gold rated PSUs instead of bronze or silver? Also, do they come with all the necessary cables?
