Hey everyone! I'm in the process of building a mini-ITX setup and I've decided to go with an i3-14100F as my CPU since it's budget-friendly and pairs well with my RTX 4060. I'm looking at the ASRock B760M-ITX/D4 WIFI motherboard, which is my only option for DDR4 right now. My question is: will this chipset provide enough PCIe lanes to support my RTX 4060 at full speed? I believe it uses PCIe 5.0, but I also want to add an NVMe drive. Can I run both the GPU and the NVMe without bottlenecking the B760? Are there any limitations if I decide to add more devices? Any insights would be appreciated!

Just to clarify, the RTX 4060 actually operates with 8 lanes (Gen4x8), not 16, but that's still enough. Every B760 board should have a Gen4x16 slot, which means you're totally fine. Your ASRock board can definitely support both the GPU and an NVMe drive—no worries about saturating the chipset unless you're pushing extreme workloads. You should be good to go!
Honestly, I think people worry way too much about bottlenecking these days. The RTX 4060 is not the most powerful card, and I doubt you'll run into any issues with the B760 chipset.
Yeah, I see those threads all the time! It's like some folks just want to create drama over a word. We’ve been talking about bottlenecks forever.
For real! It's like a marketing ploy to get people to spend more money on upgrades they might not even need.

Thanks for the detailed info! That's a relief to hear.
