Is it okay to use my old GPU while I wait for a new one?

I'm almost done building my PC and just need a graphics card. I have a GeForce 2070 Super from my old setup. Will it work fine with my new build, even if I can't run games at max settings? I'm eager to get started and don't want to wait another month if I can use my old card. My build features an ultra i7, 32GB DDR5, a 2TB NVMe SSD, and an 850W PSU.

No need to wait! Get your build going and enjoy it. You can always upgrade the GPU later. Just have fun with what you’ve got for now!

Absolutely, feel free to use your 2070 Super for now! Just keep an eye on the temps at first. Sometimes the thermal paste on older GPUs can dry out, especially if you’ve moved it around. If it gets too hot, consider replacing the thermal paste later on.

Yeah, it should work just fine! If you're mainly worried about compatibility, you’ve got nothing to stress about. Go ahead and build your PC using the 2070 Super until you decide to upgrade.
