I'm ready to upgrade my aging PC from 2016, which is really struggling to run current games. The only somewhat new part is a 2070 Super that I got from my stepdad's recent upgrade. I think I can reuse my Fractal Design R5 case and my 750W modular EVGA PSU. What I really need is a new motherboard, CPU, memory, and a decent M.2 drive. My budget is under $2000, and I hope to play newer games on my 34-inch 1440 ultra-wide monitor (Asus ROG Swift with G-Sync). What are some good options to consider?

2000 bucks will definitely get you a comprehensive upgrade. If you're near a Microcenter, check them out; you could snag a good deal on CPU, RAM, and motherboard for around $300 to $500 together!
Honestly, $2000 is enough for a solid rebuild! I'd recommend starting with an AM5 B650 motherboard. For the CPU, the Ryzen 5 7500F is the minimum, but if you can swing it, go for the Ryzen 9 7900—it makes a huge difference. Add some Kingston Fury Renegade DDR5 RAM at 6000 MHz or better, and for your SSD, a PCIe 4.0 Kingston Fury Renegade is great. That should set you up nicely for gaming!
Totally! Microcenter always has the best bundle deals; I got a 12th-gen Intel board plus RAM for a steal!
