I recently upgraded my PC by changing the motherboard from an ASUS Strix ROG B250 to a Gygabyte B550 AORUS ELITE V2, and swapped the CPU from an Intel i5 7500 to a Ryzen 7 5800X. Now, I'm encountering a blue screen of death that says my PC needs to be repaired. I've already updated the BIOS, but I still haven't had any luck getting it to boot properly. What can I do to fix this?

I think you need to do a clean install of Windows. When you change a motherboard and CPU, it’s like getting a new computer. Windows can get really confused with the old drivers. If you’ve done the BIOS update but still get that blue screen, the clean install is probably the way to go.
Since you upgraded your CPU and motherboard from Intel to AMD, you should expect some issues with the old Windows installation. If you're still stuck, try booting into Safe Mode and see if that lets you remove any leftover drivers from Intel.
It sounds like you could be having driver conflicts since you swapped out a lot of hardware. If you can boot into Safe Mode, try uninstalling the old Intel drivers. Otherwise, a fresh Windows installation may be your best bet after such a significant hardware change.
Did you change the drive where your OS is installed? If it's still the old drive with Windows on it, that could also lead to compatibility issues. A new or updated OS might help.
Have you checked if the system is POSTing without errors? If it’s booting up but still showing the blue screen, the issue might be related to drivers or even Windows trying to reconcile old hardware with new.
