I'm having issues with my PC's performance, specifically with my Ryzen 9 7900X and RX 9070 XT configuration. It seems to lag behind what I expected, and I've noticed that enabling AMD EXPO sometimes leads to kernel crashes. I'm not very knowledgeable about PC hardware, so I'm looking for advice on how to resolve this.

First off, what motherboard are you using with your setup? It’s important because compatibility can greatly affect performance. Also, can you tell me the specifics of your RAM? It might be worth checking if they're properly seated in the A2 and B2 slots. Last but not least, how are you measuring the underperformance?
Make sure you are connecting your monitor to the GPU's Display Port and not the motherboard's output. Sometimes, performance can be significantly impacted if the display is not properly set up to take advantage of the GPU.
I have it connected to the GPU, using one Display Port and one HDMI for a second monitor.

I have an Asus B650-A motherboard and I'm using G.Skill Ripjaws M5 Neo RAM. As for performance, I've noticed my games run worse than my friend's PC, who has an older setup with a 1080 Ti but performs much better.
