I started my journey to learn web development back in November 2025, but I've hit a major roadblock. I really want to learn coding to eventually create something that could earn me money. Yet, I find myself constantly procrastinating and feeling too lazy to dive into it. Has anyone else faced a similar struggle? What strategies have you used to get past procrastination?

Sticking to engaging material is crucial. If W3Schools isn’t clicking for you, maybe seek out other resources or jump into building your own projects to make learning more exciting.

Consider setting small, achievable goals like spending just 10 minutes a day coding. It helps ease the pressure and can build momentum over time.

It's okay if programming isn't resonating with you. Sometimes you just need to explore other areas. But if you like coding, try removing distractions and kickstart your focus on coding.

One thing that really helped me was to find a specific project I wanted to build. When I had a clear goal in mind, I was much more motivated to put in the work and learn.

Try to figure out what’s holding you back. Are you really passionate about coding, or is it just about the potential money? If it’s fear of failing or distractions, tackle those directly. Make sure you’re also taking care of your health, like getting enough sleep and eating well.
