Hello everyone! 👋 I'm currently limited to gaming on my PS4, but I feel like I've exhausted the available games. I'm looking to venture into PC gaming, particularly for more zombie and survival games that the PS4 doesn't quite offer. Beyond gaming, I need a computer that's better for multitasking than a console. My budget is about 1000 PLN (around 220 EUR / 240 USD), and I primarily want to purchase used parts from the Polish market, like OLX or Allegro.
I have a few specific goals in mind:
• To run games like Project Zomboid, Unturned, and 7 Days to Die at 1080p with decent performance.
• I'm not looking for ultra settings or AAA titles.
• I want to prioritize used parts to stay within budget.
Here are my questions:
1. What CPU and GPU combos are ideal for around 1000 PLN that fit the type of gaming I'm interested in?
2. Are there particular graphics cards (like RX 570, GTX 1050 Ti, GTX 1650 Super, GTX 1060 6GB) that are good finds in the used market?
3. How should I effectively allocate my budget across components such as GPU, CPU and motherboard, RAM, SSD, and PSU?
4. What should I be cautious of when buying used parts from OLX or Allegro, especially regarding compatibility and power requirements?
Thanks a lot for any advice! 😊

Building a solid gaming PC on that budget might be tricky, especially since 240 USD doesn't stretch far these days, particularly in the used parts market. I suggest looking for a complete used gaming PC rather than buying parts piece by piece. Sometimes people sell their old systems when upgrading, which can give you a better configuration for the price.
For CPUs, you might want to consider AMD's x3d series, and for GPUs, keep an eye out for Nvidia RTX 10xx or 20xx series cards. Also, focus on getting an air-cooled system instead of a water-cooled one since it's simpler and generally more reliable.
I’m from the Czech Republic and most of my parts came from Facebook Marketplace. I think your best bet is to look for a prebuilt gaming PC within your budget. Individual used parts can add up quickly, and there might be good deals on older systems people are looking to sell. If you're open to using Facebook Marketplace, that could widen your options significantly!
Also, saving a bit more to increase your budget could definitely help score a better setup overall.
Yeah, definitely do some searching and see if you find some good prebuilt deals!

Thanks for the tip! I'll consider checking out Facebook Marketplace and maybe holding off a little longer to save up for something better.
