I'm working on my first PC build, and I've run into a problem with a persistent orange DRAM light. Initially, when I set up the CPU with a friend's help, everything seemed fine. However, after a week of letting it sit, I tried to power it up after installing the AIO cooler, GPU, and storage, but now I'm stuck with this orange light. I've already reseated the RAM in various configurations, changed the CMOS battery, reset the BIOS, and checked all connections. I even replaced the CPU and tried every RAM stick individually, yet the DRAM light remains lit. Could anyone suggest what my next steps should be?

It sounds like you might just need to be patient with the first post. Sometimes, it can take a good amount of time due to RAM training. If the DRAM light is on for a while, it might just be doing its thing. Also, you might want to check if your RAM is on the motherboard's QVL list—if it isn’t, it may not work properly. So, give it a bit more time before jumping to conclusions or buying new RAM.
Make sure the AIO cooler is installed correctly. It needs to be properly aligned and making good contact with the CPU. If you overtightened it, it could affect the connection and lead to issues like this.
I suspect that might have been the issue since I did overtighten it. Not sure it’s the sole problem though. Appreciate the advice!
Thanks for the tip! I had no idea the first post could take so long. I'll give it a little more time next time I try.
