I've been experiencing an issue where my audio cuts out randomly when I'm playing sound from different applications like Chrome or VLC, especially when those programs aren't actively open on my screen. This disruption is quite distracting. I've already checked that my drivers are up to date and there are no active audio enhancements enabled. Does anyone know what might be causing this problem?

It sounds like the issue might be related to your audio output device. What type of device are you using to listen? Is it speakers, headphones, or something else? If you haven’t tested multiple devices, it might be a good idea to see if the issue persists across them.
Since you mentioned you’re connected to your TV, have you tried checking the audio settings within Windows? Sometimes, HDMI connections can have specific settings that cause audio issues. It might be worth looking into the sound settings or even trying a different port on the TV.
