How to Install Windows 11 on My HP Victus When the Disk Isn’t Detected?

Hey everyone! I'm trying to do a clean install of Windows 11 on my HP Victus 16-d0000. My original system got corrupted and won't boot, and now it seems like my laptop's disk isn't showing up during the installation process. I've downloaded the drivers, but they're in .exe format, which isn't much help for boot files. Also, I've noticed the touchpad isn't working—could that be due to missing drivers too? Any advice on how to get this sorted?

First off, it might be worth trying a static discharge. Unplug everything, including the power supply, then hold down the power button for about 30 seconds. After that, plug it back in and see if it boots up normally. If that doesn't work, let me know what happens next—are there any lights or error messages that pop up? We might need more info to figure this out.

It sounds like you're having a tough time! If the disk isn't detected at all, check your BIOS settings. Sometimes, changing settings related to disk management can help. But be careful, as making changes can lead to data loss if you have important files. Make sure you have backups before proceeding, and if you need to download drivers, look for those specifically for Windows 11 on HP’s support page, as those should be easier to integrate into your installation media.
