I'm looking for suggestions on upgrading my PC that I built back in 2017. I've got an Intel Core i7-8700K processor, an Asus ROG STRIX Z390-E motherboard, and an Asus STRIX GAMING GeForce RTX 2070 graphics card. My power supply is an EVGA SuperNOVA 750W 80+, and I have 32 GB of Corsair Vengeance Pro RAM, along with a 1 TB SSD and a Samsung 970 EVO NVMe drive. I want to improve gaming performance without replacing the motherboard or power supply. Any advice would be greatly appreciated since it's been a while since I last worked on upgrades!

One great upgrade option is the Intel Core i9-9900K. It would drop right into your existing motherboard and give you a solid performance boost—similar to what you'd get with a Ryzen 5 5700X. That's definitely a solid jump for gaming!

Would it make sense to upgrade the GPU as well? Just wondering how much more power I could get out of my CPU and GPU together.
