How can I reset my stolen iPhone?

I had my iPhone stolen, and while I've tried all the suggested methods, I'm stuck at the point where I need to delete my iPhone's data through iCloud. The message says I must wait for the phone to connect to Wi-Fi, but I doubt the thieves will do that since they probably either turned it off or are using it on hacked systems. I've already changed all my passwords, but I'm really anxious to erase my personal data, including photos and notes. Any advice?

If the thief can't unlock your phone, they likely won't be able to connect it to Wi-Fi either. Your best option is to hope they either wipe it themselves or just don't care about your data.

As long as the thief doesn't have your passcode, you should be fine. Keep it in Lost Mode and don't select the removal option. Apple won't reach out to you claiming they've found it, so stay alert.

Really, just put it in Lost Mode and forget about it. It’s the easiest way to manage it while keeping your data secure.

Just go ahead and activate Lost Mode and keep it listed on your iCloud account. This way, even if they try to swap the phone or do anything, they won’t be able to access your data.

You should definitely put your iPhone in Lost Mode. This helps secure the device and keeps it in a state where others can't access your information.
