I built my PC back in early 2026, and I managed to grab RAM and an SSD before prices skyrocketed. Now, I'm considering upgrading my CPU from a Ryzen 5 7500F to a Ryzen 7 7800X3D. I also have a Radeon RX 9060 XT with 16 GB of memory. I'm curious if this upgrade is worth it, or if the new CPU would be overkill and potentially cause a bottleneck.

It could be a good move depending on the games you play. The new CPU isn’t 'too strong' for your GPU at all, so you should be fine there. Just check the benchmarks for the specific games you’re into to get a clearer picture.
I mainly play AAA games.
