Is This Budget Build for a Future-Proof PC Worth It?

I'm trying to build my first PC on a budget, aiming for something that's also somewhat future-proof. I've picked out some components, but I'm worried about potential issues or bottlenecks. I have all my peripherals except for the headset. Also, I'm a bit confused about the cooling situation—do I need extra fans? I think you're aiming too high with that GPU choice; the one you've selected isn't great for current gaming demands. If your budget allows, consider switching to an Intel Arc B580 12GB instead. It's a better investment for your setup!

What makes the B580 a better choice compared to other options? Isn't it a bit slower on clock speed for the price?

Unfortunately, there's really no such thing as a truly future-proof PC. It's better to choose components that allow for upgrades later down the line. I suggest maybe getting a slightly better power supply, like an 850W, so you have room for future enhancements without spending a ton at once when you need more power.

Your GPU selection is kind of outdated. You might want to consider a used 3070 or any of the newer models like the 9060XT or the 7700XT. Even just looking at a used 3070 can get you solid performance without completely breaking the bank!

You should double-check your case model. The one you're looking at may not come with any fans, which could lead to overheating. If you can find the version that comes with four fans, that should keep things cool enough without needing extras right away.
