Should I wait for a 5070 Ti or stick with my 7900 XT?

I'm currently using a 7900 XT, but I'm feeling frustrated since AMD isn't supporting RDNA 3 with FSR4. I'm considering switching to a 5070 Ti, but it seems like they're mostly out of stock or priced way above MSRP right now. Is it worth the wait for a 5070 Ti, or should I just hold on to my current setup until the next generation of GPUs comes out?

If you're determined, keep an eye on deal sites. I've seen 5070 Tis pop up at MSRP but they disappear fast, so be ready to act quickly!

Honestly, a 1060 can still handle gaming decently, especially at lower resolutions. Just tweak those settings and you should be fine!

I'd say it's not worth it unless you find an amazing deal. Otherwise, you might be wasting money for minimal upgrades. Better to save up for the next gen or go for a bigger leap like a 5090!

Honestly, unless you really need Nvidia's features like ray tracing or DLSS, I'd recommend sticking with the 7900 XT for now. It's still a solid GPU, and waiting for prices to stabilize makes more sense than jumping onto a crowded market right now.

Totally agree! I'm a 7900 XT user too, and while DLSS is tempting (I love it on my laptop with the 4070m), my 7900 XT is still performing really well.

I thought FSR4 for older cards was confirmed? They leaked the data on GitHub, and some users have already made it work on their older setups. So maybe hold tight for a while? You might not need to switch after all!

If you can't snag a 5070 Ti close to MSRP, I wouldn't stress over it. The 7900 XT is an awesome card in its own right.

Exactly! I feel lucky I got my 7900 XT when I did.
